Went to Nagoya to see one of my best friends for the weekend. No plans, no schedule, just the way I like it!
We decided to go paint china at this famous company, they have displays of all these teacups from years ago. You can watch them making things all the way from start to finish. While we were there we were watching a guy hand-painting something and this old guy suddenly asked him a question! My friend and I both reacted because we thought he'd made the artist jump while he was painting! Timing, old dude, timing...
We ate lunch both days at the best pizza place in Japan, possibly the world! They have won loads of awards and the pizza is soooo good! Even though the queue is pretty long the line goes fast and the seating area is pleasant and uncrowded.
Lots of shopping, wandering, people watching and generally just hanging out. A very good weekend to soothe my tattered soul after the previous week!
